Mission Statement

At Celebration of Life Presbyterian Church we acknowledge God as our creator and conscience, Jesus Christ as our redeemer and model, and the Holy Spirit as our strength and inspiration.  As the Body of Christ, we carry on His mission today in the spirit of peace and love, embracing each person as a member of God's family.  We strive to live out our understanding of the Scriptures through providing creative worship, fostering spiritual growth, enabling healing, promoting justice, and reaching out to people in need.

Worship

The primary activity of our life together is the worship of God as revealed in Jesus Christ.  Our worship is informal and contemporary, and it includes members of the congregation as lay leaders in each service, giving them the opportunity to share their own insights.  In our worship, we focus on the acceptance of all God's people all over the world, the hope for global peace, and Christ's command that we love and minister to the excluded, overlooked, and underprivileged.  At the conclusion of each service, we form a friendship circle where the people of the congregation can offer their own prayers of joy, thanksgiving, healing, and concern.

Sunday Worship
  • 10:00 Worship Service
  • 10:40 Church School (following Children's Time in the worship service)
  • 11:15 Fellowship Time
Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.

At Fellowship Time the congregation gathers around refreshments to catch up on life's events.

Special Services are held on
  • Ash Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.
  • Maundy Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
  • Christmas Eve, 9:00 p.m.
Celebration of Life has been called by God to be a congregation
that welcomes and fully values all persons.  Our diversity is
a gift of God and essential to our witness to the Gospel.
