The primary activity of our life together is the worship of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Our worship is informal and contemporary, and it includes members of the congregation as lay leaders in each service, giving them the opportunity to share their own insights.

In our worship, we focus on the acceptance of all God's people all over the world, the hope for global peace, and Christ's command that we love and minister to the excluded, overlooked, and underprivileged. At the conclusion of each service, we form a Friendship Circle where the people of the congregation can offer their own prayers of joy, thanksgiving, healing, and concern.

Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. At Fellowship Time the congregation gathers around refreshments to catch up on life's events.

The Worship Committee

The goal of the committee is to create Sunday morning services to aid the congregation in worshiping in Spirit and in Truth. The committee invites anyone to join them to select the music and plan each worship service in ways that further emphasize the theme of the sermon, lectionary and season.

The committee also recruits worship leaders to assist the pastor during Sunday worship. If you are curious about what the worship leader typically does, please utilize the hyperlink above to see our brochure. If you would like to volunteer to be a worship leader, please contact the pastor or any of the church musicians
